Opis
Krátka cesta do minulosti a späť. Z Göstlingu trasa spočiatku mierne stúpa 7 kilometrov do Lassingu, východiskového/koncového bodu zážitkového sveta Mendlingtal. Po krátkom, ale veľmi strmom (16 %) stúpaní odbočíte smerom na Hollenstein, nasledujúci zostup vedie k ďalšiemu východiskovému/koncovému bodu 3,5 kilometra dlhej, divoko romantickej rokliny pozdĺž potoka, kde nájdete jednu z posledných funkčných žľabov na splavovanie dreva v strednej Európe.
Za ňou vedie trasa po úzkej ceste až na Promau (cca 4 km, max. 8 %), kde vás na zotrvanie pozýva krásne odpočívadlo s výhľadom na Gamsstein a Königsberg. Nasledujúcich 10 km vedie z kopca (max. 8 %) cez Sandgraben a opäť sa priblížite k civilizácii a dorazíte do Hollensteinu an der Ybbs so známym kúpaliskom Flussstrandbad.
Trasa pokračuje proti prúdu rieky Ybbstal po Cyklotrase Ybbstal krásnou prírodou pozdĺž rieky a cez St. Georgen a Kogelsbach sa vraciate do Göstlingu.

Opis trasy Am Holzweg
From Göstling, leave the town heading south and follow the Erlauftalstraße to Lassing. Opposite the small village, turn half right towards Lassing and climb the short, steep ascent into the Mendling Valley. It goes equally steeply down on the other side before the road becomes narrower but less steep towards Promau. In several bends, it goes uphill for about 4 km to the Promau height, followed by a 10 km long descent (initially steeper, later only moderately descending) to Hollenstein.
Through the village and over the bridge to the other side of the Ybbs, switch to the Ybbstalradweg and follow it back to Göstling.
