Opis
The cycle route runs along the Triesting and is a real insider tip for nature-loving families. As you pass the old cotton mills, you’re drawn straight into the mystical floodplain landscape that has been beautifully preserved along the river.
A natural paradise that's worth protecting – and taking a closer look at! Enjoy frog concerts, birdsong, and a variety of aquatic plants, including some rare species. A special highlight for kids: the many weirs and fish ladders, where they can explore the Triesting up close.
It’s well worth pedaling on, as the Triestingau cycle path leads straight from the magical “water forest” to Dumba Park in Tattendorf. Here, families can dive into a whole new world of adventure – with 60 life-sized dinosaurs waiting to be discovered!
And right next door: Butterfly World Tattendorf, where magical giant butterflies flutter through the air. If time allows, a detour to the Tattendorf climbing park is also a great idea – with views of the giant dinosaurs from above!
Between water forest and dinosaurs – a cycle tour full of wild and wonderful surprises!
Rest Areas: Along the cycle path, you'll find plenty of playgrounds that invite families to take a well-deserved break. Even more charming, however, are the many little hidden spots near the bridges and directly along the banks of the Triesting. Here, the motto is: pause, enjoy, and take in the surroundings.
