The Kaltenbergweg is a short circular hiking route that takes you through the charming landscape around Altmelon past the power spot, the "Pfarrerstuhl".

Opis trasy Kaltenbergweg
From the info platform in the town centre, walk on the B119 towards Arbesbach and turn right after about 200 metres. From there, follow the path about 50 metres and then turn right at the Kaltenbergweg sign. You pass a stone niche that probably served for message transmission in ancient times, and then follow the path past the Pfarrerstuhl (power spot). Then you hike through pristine nature back to Altmelon.

Coming from St. Pölten or Vienna via Krems to Zwettl on the B 38 to Groß Gerungs and from there to Altmelon or at the Merzenstein junction on the B 124 to Altmelon.
Coming from the west A1 to Linz, A7 and B 124 to Altmelon.
