Along the small and large waters through (almost) all metropolises of the Erlauftal. Culture meets history, tradition meets modernity. An ice cream stop in Scheibbs cools you from the inside.
Opis
Shortly after Gaming, you turn from the large to the small Erlauftal cycle path and ride via Brettl into the cultural village of Gresten. First on the low-traffic main road, then for the last few kilometers before Gresten on the cycle path. Follow this after passing through the town and away from the main road, past the Meridian stone to Randegg, continue over the Perwarth ruins along the idyllic small Erlauftal cycle path. The villages Perwarth and Wang are passed before you cross a larger town in Steinakirchen.
Here turn right onto a lightly used country road and over two hills to Purgstall on the large Erlauf. From here you follow the Erlauftal cycle path upstream back towards the starting point – especially the district capital Scheibbs offers worthwhile places to stop.
