The name "Lagler" has been established on the Rote Torgasse 10 farm since 1789, but it was not until the end of the 1970s that the transition from pure grape producer to winemaker took place. We currently cultivate around 13.5 hectares of vineyards (mainly terraced sites with weathered primary rock soils), with approx. 40% Grüne Veltliner, 25% Riesling as well as Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Neuburger, Rivaner, Sauvignon Blanc and Zweigelt in the Tausendeimerberg, Steinborz, Setzberg, Hartberg, Vorderseiber, Axpoint and Atzberg vineyards.
Under the motto "Living where the wine lives", the family also runs the Weinberghof, a 4-star hotel garni in Spitz, as well as a sun terrace with a wonderful view, sun loungers for lazing around and the wein.kost.bar, where you can taste and enjoy wines from their own vineyard in peace and quiet.
