ÖsterReis is rice that is produced and processed in Austria: This makes Austria the world's North Pole of rice cultivation!
The Neumeyer family has been cultivating, processing and selling rice on their farm since 2015. Thanks to the extremely positive experiences of recent years, they are convinced that rice can be cultivated in Austria in the long term. With ÖsterReis, she wants to enable her customers to consciously purchase food that would otherwise be transported thousands of kilometers around the world, while also offering her colleagues in agriculture an alternative that allows them to make a living.
Excursions to the rice mill and rice field can be booked.
