The Johannes Hofer winery is a family business that has been growing wine for four generations. Johannes Hofer has been continuing the craft in the southern Weinviertel in Auersthal since 2018. The vineyards are cultivated sustainably and the extensive manual work is carried out exclusively by the family. The grapes thrive on the Freiberg, Neusatzen, Vogelsang, Frauenberg, Herrenberg, Kirchlissen, Hauslisse and Lussberg vineyards. The Pannonian climate offers optimal conditions for ripening the grapes. Most of the wines are matured in steel tanks with temperature-controlled fermentation, which allows each variety from the extensive range to be treated individually. The wines of the Johannes Hofer winery are characterized by their freshness, youthfulness and fruitiness, making them an indispensable part of any wine lover's collection.
