Weingut Jony

The Jony winery, located in Ebenthal in the Weinviertel, about 40 km north-east of Vienna, is an impressive mixed farm of arable farming and viticulture. On around 12 hectares of vineyards, 95% white wine varieties and 5% red wine varieties are cultivated here. The white wine varieties range from Grüne Veltliner, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, Rheinriesling, Neuburger, Sämling 88, Traminer to Sauvignon Blanc. Among the red wine varieties, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon and Roesler are cultivated. The Jony winery strives to process grapes that have ripened under favorable climatic conditions into high-quality wines. Some of the pressed wine is marketed via Buschenschank (typical tavern). In addition to wine, the winery also produces its own fruit, wine and marc brandies. The products of the winery can be purchased by appointment.
