Weingut Andreas Holzer

The Holzer winery has been one of the most renowned wineries in Traisental for many years and this fits in perfectly with the Holzers' philosophy: "The special thing about a family business is that when it comes to quality, they think in generations!" The winery's range of wines is broad; in addition to Grüne Veltliner as the main player, they cultivate a wide range of varieties and red wines also play a role that should not be underestimated. The basis for the quality is a near-natural cultivation of the vineyards, consistent adaptation and reduction of yields, optimally selected harvest times and finally the processing of the grapes in a modern, well-equipped cellar. Numerous awards confirm the Holzers' quality work as well as their remarkable export quota: every fifth bottle of Holzer wine is enjoyed by wine lovers outside Austria.
