The BIO-Winzerhof Berthold is a traditional winery in the north-eastern Weinviertel, which is now being run by the third generation. In addition to viticulture, arable farming is also practiced. Eight grape varieties thrive on loess and clay soil, including Grüne Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling, Muskat Ottonell, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Zweigelt. Organic viticulture has been practiced since 2015. In the winery's own cellar, the harvest goes directly onto the conveyor belt and into the press without a pump. Machines ensure precise selection to meet the high quality standards. The winery also offers space for events. The bright, friendly tasting room with approx. 60 m² offers space for 40 - 50 people, in summer around 100 people can take part in events. Culinary delights are provided by an experienced catering partner. Tastings are possible by prior arrangement and are served with an appetizing Heurigen platter.
