The cozy vacation apartment is situated in a quiet location in the center of the village and is part of the lovingly renovated old Hackenhof with ecological building materials. The controlled ventilation system and the clay plaster in the rooms promote a sense of well-being. Together with other buildings, the Lösshof was awarded the 2016 AUSTRIAN CLIMATE PROTECTION PRIZE and the ENERGY GLOBE 2017 for its overall ecological concept!
The courtyard and its naturally designed garden invite you to linger and offer play opportunities for children. Our cats and rabbits can be petted. You can choose from the entire organic wine range of our family winery Mehofer - Neudeggerhof or enjoy grape juice and water by candlelight on the cozy terrace.
On Saturday mornings or by prior arrangement by telephone, you can purchase various groceries (except pastries and sausages), EZA and fair-trade products at "Gerti's Gemixtwaren", just a 5-minute walk away. The mobile bakery "Blauensteiner" offers fresh baked goods and dairy products for sale from Mon.-Mi. and Fri.-Sat. between 6.45 and 7.00 a.m. approx. 100 m away. On Saturdays between 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. you can buy fresh products from the mobile butcher's shop "Kolobratnik" in front of the guest house.
