Opis
This family-friendly route leads on comfortable and varied paths over alpine pastures and through forests. There are stunning views of the surrounding mountains at Henesteck and several places to stop for refreshment. The town center of Annaberg can also be included.

Opis trasy Herzerlweg Annaberg
We start at the parking lot of the Annaberg lifts (P1, Annarotte 126, 3222 Annaberg) and go a short way downhill towards the valley station of the drag lift. We then follow part of the drag lift line before turning left onto easier paths to the forest farmer's place (snack station) and past the White Cross. At the saddle meadow, we turn left and hike on increasingly steep ascent along the rugged ridge of the Hennesteck. From here, we hike flatter along the mountain edge to the reservoir lake at Hennesteck; those wanting to climb the summit (1334m) turn right immediately at the first forest edge (with the same route back adding about half an hour). We continue along the reservoir lake towards the lift area and to the Anna-Alm for refreshments. From the Anna-Alm with its magnificent mountain view, we continue straight along the ridge (marked red), then turn right over forest clearings gently downhill and come onto a forest road. When reaching the blue marking, we always keep left following this marking and pass Spindlhofalm-Kanrreiter-Stadlerhof (892) back up to the parking lot of the Annaberg lifts.
Via the nature trail, it is possible to continue hiking to the town center of Annaberg (about half an hour).

From the north: leave the A1 West Autobahn at St. Pölten South and follow the B 20 towards Mariazell to Annaberg – parking lot about 1 km past the town exit on the right side
From the west: leave the A1 West Autobahn at Ybbs/Donau – B 25 towards Wieselburg – through Wieselburg towards Eisenstraße – turn left at B 28/Puchenstubener Straße – follow B 28 (Wastl) – in Lassingrotte turn left onto B 20 towards Annaberg – shortly after Reidl-Reith turn left into the parking lot
Parkovanie
The parking lot of the Annaberg lifts requires a fee. Users of the cable car service park for free. The parking ticket can be purchased during opening hours directly at the ticket office or anytime online in the webshop. Parking vehicles is only allowed between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. >> Information on parking regulations
