ATTENTION: Due to logging operations, the ski lift road to Jauerling is closed until the end of October 2025!

This route excites ambitious mountain bikers. From Maria Laach to Hochjauerling, over the romantic Heuweg to Spitz, past the Nonnersdorfer Cross with constant views of the Danube on the way back.

Z pútnického miesta Maria Laach sa vydáme na bicykli do Hochjauerlingu, odkiaľ si môžeme vychutnať celú panorámu údolia Dunaja. Divoká a romantická senná cesta nás zavedie do vinárskej obce Spitz a odtiaľ pozdĺž Dunaja do Schwallenbachu. Teraz sa vydáme po nespevnenej poľnej ceste do Gießhüblu, kde môžeme obdivovať stredovekú obrannú vežu. Po návrate do Maria Laach sa na bicykli vydáme po lesných cestách ku krížu Nonnersdorfer Kreuz a odtiaľ späť do Maria Laach cez tiché dedinky a cesty, ktoré opakovane ponúkajú výhľady na údolie Dunaja.
