The Anderl family's garden is a place to take a deep breath - both a scenic and culinary delight. Whether you are looking for ideas for designing your own garden or relaxation and recreation - both are possible.

A few years ago, the Anderl family bought the neighboring property in Harmanschlag to realize their idea of a place to take a deep breath. This is how the almost 0.5-hectare garden was created, which has been open to visitors for some time due to popular demand.

During a guided tour of Sandra & Manfred Anderl's garden, visitors are first given a short presentation in which they learn interesting facts about the farming here, the village of Harmanschlag and the creation of the garden. During the subsequent tour of the garden, you can discover imposing stone walls with integrated natural rocks, countless different types of flowers, a lime tree that is over 100 years old, a sauna house with a fireplace made of natural stone, countless resting places and much more. Above all, guests admire the unique location and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the landscape.

After a guided tour of the garden (duration approx. 1.5 hours), there is the opportunity to purchase all kinds of delicacies from the region in the farm store or to linger in the small snack bar. The Angus beef specialties from the Anderl family's own farm are particularly recommended.

Guided tours, visits to the snack station and the farm store are only possible with advance reservation by telephone! (Guided tours are possible for groups of 4 people or more, groups and coaches are also very welcome).

Visits to the show garden and the farm (including Angus cattle) are also possible in the winter months . There are also guided hikes followed by a snack at the Angushof. Enjoy breathtaking views and discover idyllic places and unique natural gems on a guided hike through the Waldviertel winter landscape. A hike takes place for groups of 5 or more.
