Fehhaube und Kogelsteine

Historické miesto, Vyhliadkový bod

Popis

The Feehaube, also sometimes called Feenhaube or Fehhaube, is a rock formation with a towering stone pillar and is located around 450 meters north of the Kogelsteine. A phallus-like finial, which resembles a helmet or even a dome, crowns the weathered stone pillar. Numerous archaeological finds of shards indicate that the cult site is several thousand years old (Bronze Age and older).

The atmosphere around this natural monument is remarkably peaceful and tranquil.

The dolmen at the guardian allows precise observation of the sunset at the winter solstice.
The Kimme-Korn stone allows you to observe the sunset at the summer solstice.

The SONN-WEND-STEIN association has set itself the task of researching specific primary rock sites in the region and making this knowledge available to the public.
