Visitors to the bird of prey stadium can get very close to eagles, falcons, owls, vultures and even peacocks!

A special encounter:

At the bird of prey station, visitors have the opportunity to get very close to the animals. There are around 60 animals to admire, including black vultures and imperial eagles, nocturnal birds of prey such as the eagle owl and the endangered tawny owl. During the guided tour, station manager Peter Steinbichl is happy to provide detailed information about the different lifestyles and behaviors of the animals up close. Anyone interested can visit the bird of prey station by making an appointment by telephone. There is generally no admission charge, but the operators would be delighted to receive a free donation.
