Opis
Cyklotúra začína na železničnej stanici v Marcheggu a vedie severným smerom k hradu Marchegg. Odtiaľ sa vydajte na východ a prejdite cez most cez rieku Moravu na Slovensko. Tam sa vydáte na bicykli po Ceste železnej opony (EV13) a v Devínskej Novej Vsi prekročíte rieku Moravu späť do Rakúska. Na bicykli potom prejdete priamo okolo hradu Hof a pokračujete južným smerom. Po približne 10 km po Cyklotrasách prejdete okolo malého romantického hradu Niederweiden. Cesta pokračuje do Engelhartstettenu, kde sa stretáva južný okruh. Pokračujete smerom na západ cez Loimersdorf a Kopfstetten a potom sa dostanete k zámku Eckartsau s krásnymi záhradami. Odtiaľ pokračujete južným smerom až k Dunajskej cyklotrase (EV6). Po nej pokračujte východným smerom do Stopfenreuthu, kde odbočte opäť na sever do Engelhartstettenu. Odtiaľ sa rovnakou trasou vráťte na železničnú stanicu Marchegg.

Opis trasy Schlösserreich Runde
The route starts at Marchegg station and initially leads to Schloss Marchegg. From there, it goes over the VysoMarch cycle bridge into Slovakia and along the Iron Curtain Trail (EuroVelo 13) through the idyllic March meadows to the Freedom Cycle Bridge at Devínská Nová Ves. Back in Austria, the route runs past the foot of Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden and continues via Engelhartstetten, Loimersdorf, and Kopfstetten to Schloss Eckartsau. Then the path leads over the Danube cycle path (EuroVelo 6) through the Danube-Auen National Park to Stopfenreuth. From there, it goes back via the Kamp-Thaya-March cycle path to Engelhartstetten and directly past Schloss Hof. The route finally ends again in Marchegg.

Coming from Vienna Donaustadt on the B3 towards Orth up to Eckartsau.
From Vienna Donaustadt on the B8 towards Gänserndorf and then on the B49 towards Marchegg.
On the A4 to Fischamend, then continuing on the B9 at Hainburg over the Danube Bridge towards Marchegg.

Three of these rest areas are found directly on this route next to Schloss Marchegg (west side), at the foot of Schloss Hof (east side outside the castle grounds on the cycle path to the Freedom Bridge), and directly on the cycle path east of Schloss Niederweiden – including puzzle fun for young and old!
