Východiskovým bodom „Poznávacej vinárskej okružnej cesty – Weinviertel DAC“ je historické námestie v obci Retz. Prejdete okolo symbolu mesta – veterného mlyna, po miernych kopcoch s vinohradmi, až cez obec Waitzendorf dôjdete do obce Pulkau. Ďalej budete pokračovať smerom k obciam Röschitz a Roseldorf, potom na Platt a Zellerndorf a odtiaľ sa cez obec Pillersdorf opäť vrátite do mesta Retz. Dobrá rada: Pivničné uličky v obciach Platt, Zellerndorf a Pillersdorf sú ideálnym miestom na krátku prestávku.
