Johannes Trapl cultivates his 15 hectares of vineyards in Stixneusiedl with great dedication. He is personally responsible for ensuring that only the best grapes are bottled as wine. The Zweigelt for the "Rubin Carnuntum" comes from selected vineyards around Stixneusiedl. Sandy loam soils are responsible for an extraordinary, cool aroma, unique among ruby wines. The finesse and elegance of Grüne Veltliner and Blaufränkisch from Carnuntum is his greatest concern. His heart and soul beats for 40-year-old vineyards on the Spitzerberg. The power assemblage "Tilhofen" also demonstrates a golden touch for Cabernet & Co.
