Brauerei Hainfeld

Founded in 1757, the Hainfeld brewery is privately owned by the Riedmüller family and is supplied entirely with renewable energy from biomass. The brewery's own wood chip steam boiler also heats an adjacent retirement home, a residential complex and the town's outdoor swimming pool.

Master brewer Karl Riedmüller is always keen to maintain a personal relationship with the restaurateurs and takes interested parties behind the scenes of the brewing process on guided tours of the brewery. (Group size: 8 to 25 people - by prior arrangement by telephone)
